Celebrating 70 Years of Mere Christianity
Come learn from noted apologists Michael Ward, Jerry Walls, Louis Markos, and many others at HBU Apologetics Day. This one-day event will equip you to defend the faith and spread the gospel with grace and conviction.
In your hearts honor Christ the Lord as holy, always being prepared to make a defense to anyone who asks you for a reason for the hope that is in you; yet do it with gentleness and respect.
1 Peter 3:15

70 Years Ago Today…
First delivered as a series of radio talks during WWII and then collected into print, C.S. Lewis’s Mere Christianity has been on the best seller list since its publication in 1952. What makes it so popular? How is it that an Oxford professor of English literature could speak to the “average Joe” about theology? What does it have to say to us today?
Join us at The Woodlands Methodist Church on Saturday, March 26 as we discuss the theology, apologetics, and cultural impact of Mere Christianity.

DIRECTIONS
Who needs apologetics?
- When your unbelieving neighbors see you living differently than the rest of the world, they will want to know why.
- When a family member goes through a crisis and starts to have doubts, they need someone to help anchor them in the Truth.
- Before we send our kids out into the world, they need to be prepared to face the challenges they meet.
