Lights of Tejas Volunteering

Our neighbors down at Camp Tejas are looking for volunteers to help them with their annual outreach event known as Lights of Tejas. For the past five years, members from our church have signed up to volunteer on one of the nights. It’s a great opportunity for our folks to do something together that helps others. It’s also been great to see the synergy between Christians.

Volunteers should arrive at Tejas between 2 p.m. – 3 p.m. for check-in and a brief orientation. The actual “work” is from 4 p.m. until 10:30 p.m., and includes a break to eat supper and some time enjoy the lights yourselves. Plus, if you and your family wish to stay the night, you can do that, too.

This year, there’s a need for volunteers to help on December 22nd, so that’s the date our church is adopting (actually, you can volunteer for different dates or more dates, but this is the one we’re going for).
